Banagher Links (Newtype) Infront of psycoframe Unicorn Gundam

A Newtype is thought to be the next Human evolution. This would be the human body evolving to adapt to space and have a heightened mental awareness. The Newtype is similar to the Coordinators in Gundam SEED and the Innovators in Gundam 00. The Newtypes are feared by the "Oldtypes" because the Newtypes represent the next step in Human evolution and the Oldtypes are just what the past was like, almost like an antique. Newtypes were quickly introduced as soldiers for military factions. The Newtypes as soldiers are able to things that a normal soldier could not. These Newtypes are able to use better weapons of war such as Bits and Funnels which are basically unmanned ships that are only capable of using something like a beam saber or a beam rifle. These weapons are built into the Bits and Funnels and cannot be removed or switched out. There are also some Mobile Suits they can use with their mind. The psycoframe that the Sinanju or Unicorn uses. These Newtypes are the future and you will see in Gundam 00 Awakening of the Trailblazer at the end they show a large group of Innovaders headed off for deep space exploration. The Innovaders, like I said before, are very similar to the Newtypes.
